CODE OF ETHICS
Botany Bay Family History Society and its members are conscious that collecting, collating and sharing information about people, living or deceased, are essential elements of family history, but that unauthorised publication of information can result in identity fraud and cause hurt and embarrassment to others. Therefore the Society and its members agree to be bound by its Code of Ethics.

• View films ordered from LDS FamilySearch at our Research Centre
  
  
• Opportunity to participate in a range of activities such as our annual Heritage Fair, Christmas party, indexing of records, bus trips to places of interest and research repositories, attend special interest groups such as Irish, Scottish, English, Germanic, Writers and Legacy, PAF and Family Tree Maker computer programs
  
  
• Receive four issues per year of our journal The Endeavour containing interesting articles and all the latest family history news, library acquisitions and new sources
  
  
• Free use of our Research Centre with its extensive library of books, recordings of past talks, CDs and microfiche indexes with access to the internet and resources such as FindMyPast and Ancestry.com and where help is available from our experienced library assistants
